Oregon Fall XC Ski Camp December 6-13, 2009 (tentative dates)
Camp open to the public — Start your ski season off with one of the best citizen skier camps in the world! Features reliable early December skiing at Mt. Bachelor, top coaching, evening lectures, and (optional) world-class physiology testing. New formats for 2009 to offer maximum flexibility over a longer time span! Designed specifically for citizen nordic skiers with skills anywhere from high beginner to expert. Registration opens in mid-summer 2009.
XC Oregon athlete Zach Violett was selected from a pool of 350 participants to be one of a three person American team taking part in the 368-mile Polar Challenge XC ski race to the North Pole this coming spring. XC Oregon teammates Marshall Greene and Jason Tedrow also took part in the selection process. Read more here.
The 2007/2008 set all manner of records for the XC Oregon program both on and off the ski trails. Fantastic performances around the ski world were a huge story.
