Dear Bend,

Posted by Brayto in Latest News

It’s time to turn off your sprinklers. Your hard work through the summer at watering the grass and pavement has certainly paid off. Even here in the high desert, where neither of these things grows naturally, with your diligent efforts have increased quantities of both through the summer. Your efforts have not been in vain. But now is time to declare victory and pack it in for the winter season. At 17°, the pavement has closed up and is no longer receptive to your efforts. Instead of being absorbed, the water pools and freezes, making for most dangerous roller skiing conditions. And the lawns are just comical right now. Unless you’ve installed some very advanced underground refrigeration technology, your snow making efforts are futile.

It’s time to let go.

Love,

Brayton

Hey, concrete XC’er, when you are taking up the entire lane of the road… why not keep your pole out the path of cyclists passing you. I mean come on, why do you need 10 foot poles anyway?

some like to work their upper body as well as the lower, hence the polls. I’d like to see you try it sometime.
