As Wes succinctly mentioned, XC Oregon did pretty well this last weekend. With 2 team members on both the men’s and women’s individual podiums and many more winning various pairs and team categories, we were everywhere.

Training week number one is now in the books for the 2007-2008 ski season. Even though there are some races still left for the XC Oregon crew this month (namely the ones with cute acronyms), it’s time to be looking towards next year. (more…)
For those unawares of the Bend endurance scene, the Pole, Pedal, Paddle (or PPP to the locals) race is pretty much the Birkie of Bend. The race is big and much like that Hayward, WI event, frequently blown out of proportion to its actual significance in the wide world of sports. I can name at least three Olympians and/or National Champions in various sports who are justifiably bitter at the prominence this race plays here… (more…)
